Tomoya is a Partner at AET Fund and Chief Financial Officer at Akatsuki Inc. Prior to joining Akatsuki and launching AET Fund, he was Executive Officer of Corporate Planning Division at DeNA. In addition, Tomoya has professional experiences as an attorney-at-law at leading Japanese law firm and U.S. strategic consulting firm. He holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Tokyo.

Mark is a Partner at AET Fund and has spent the last few years advising, mentoring, and supporting multiple startups. Most recently, he was Director of Corporate Development and Strategy at Technicolor where he managed Techinocolor Ventures. Also, he has professional experience in Amazon and Raytheon, an aerospace and defense firm, as a senior engineer. He is a graduate of the University of California Los Angeles with B.S. and M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering and holds MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. In his free time, Mark likes to discover the best ice cream spots, snowboard, and try to get his hands on hard to get sneakers.

YUKI KAWAMURA

Yuki is a Partner at AET Fund and Project Lead of India Business at Akatsuki Inc. Prior to launching AET Fund with Tomoya and Mark, Yuki managed the launch of Netflix's Japan business in 2015 where he was in charge of content analysis and strategy development. Also, Yuki has professional experience as a management consultant at Booz & Co. and Monitor Group in Tokyo and Singapore offices. He holds B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Keio University. He is an avid snowboarder and supporting Japan National Ski and Snowboard Team as the strategic lead.
